REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy governs all payments made through the official online portal for availing Septic Tank Cleaning Services under the FSTP (Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant) Project within the jurisdiction of Ramnagar-I Block, Government of West Bengal.
All online payments made by citizens for sanitation and desludging services through this portal shall be subject to the terms and conditions mentioned herein.
Eligibility for Refund
Refund of payment may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Failed transaction where the payment has been debited from the applicant’s account but the service booking has not been successfully generated.
- Multiple or duplicate payments made for the same service request due to technical or system error.
- Cancellation of service request by the concerned authority due to administrative or operational reasons.
- Non-availability of service in the specified location as verified by the competent authority.
Non-Refundable Cases
- Service has already been delivered or initiated.
- Incorrect or incomplete information has been provided by the applicant during booking.
- Voluntary cancellation of service request by the applicant after confirmation of booking.
- Delay in service delivery due to circumstances beyond administrative control, including but not limited to natural calamities or logistical constraints.
Refund Processing Procedure
- Eligible refund requests shall be verified by the concerned administrative authority.
- Upon approval, the refund amount shall be processed within 7 to 15 working days from the date of approval.
- Refund shall be credited only to the original mode of payment used during the transaction.
No request for refund in cash or through any alternative payment mode shall be entertained.
Authority for Approval
All refund claims shall be subject to scrutiny and approval by the competent authority of the Ramnagar-I Block Administration.
The decision of the competent authority regarding eligibility and approval of refund shall be final and binding.

Applicants may contact the concerned administrative office in case of payment-related discrepancies or refund-related queries for necessary assistance and grievance redressal.
This Refund Policy is subject to revision as per Government rules and administrative guidelines issued from time to time.
